A couple of weeks ago the good folks at RIT put on yet another BarCamp Rochester that was a great time. I spoke about dealing with operational disasters to small crowd that seemed to enjoy the talk.
One of the great highlights for me was meeting the UNYStartups guys and sharing some thoughts about how the local tech community has been developing over the last couple of years. Julian is creating a great resource for local folks as well as those outside of the area.
Afterwords @tzmartin, @magnachef, @kevinpurdy, the UNYStartups team, and I headed over to Tap and Mallet where much good food and unique brews were enjoyed.
With luck the next BarCamp Rochester will be filled with some success stories and more great encounters!
